The following locations will be closed due to piping plover nesting:

Thursday, 5/30 - Hither Hills Oceanfront 4x4 area: (FULL CLOSE) This area and access road will be fully closed this Thursday 5/30. Beachfront vehicles closures will begin at the far west campground boundary and continue to the Hither Hills 4x4 western boundary sign. Reminder: Hither Hills Northside-Goff Point is still closed to vehicle traffic.

Additionally:We have temporarily closed a portion of the Hither Hills Access Rd #2 heading northbound just south of the LIRR country crossing.
